Well I have know this for a while now but haven't told any of you yet. It only took 10 years but I will be getting my very own and brand new art room next year. I am very excited about. I can wait to get in there and start decorating it. I a lot of wonder thought and ideas for it... Also other big news I don't have to travel next year. So I get to stay in one building. Yeah for me. I will be posting pictures of my room. Later when I get in it. So please stay tune in.
Congratulations! I taught in 2 dismal rooms,in 2 buildings for 13 years before we moved into our new school building and I got my super room. So I know how you must feel! Do you get any input into what goes where in the room? My husband is an architect, and it was fun working with him to figure out what would be the perfect art room - where to put cabinets, shelves, bulletin board, etc. Now, 14 years later, I have to clean all my stuff OUT of that room!!!
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO!!! I'm dancing, I'm twirling, WooHoo! I am SO happy for you, Bacon Boy! I am so jealous that you get to stay in one building, too! I am 36 years into this career and I STILL have to travel to three buildings every week.....But I am so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am so hoping you post your moving in to the art room...I am also moving from itinerant art teacher using elevators, pavillion, an all nooks and crannies to an art modular!
