Under the sea

So I did this with my 4th grader.  We were working on monochromatic colors.  Some of my classes voted on under the sea and some want to do a winter picture.

    I am working on a similar project with my 4th grade students but it never occurred to me to offer an under the sea view. (We did winter scenes) Love these!!

    What kind of paint did you use for this project? I love the circular look to it, I just need to figure out how to modify it for my students.
