Well this is another great pinterest finds and also a spin on one point perspective. We did the drawing in pencil. Then outline in sharpie. It keep my 5th graders guessing what it was going to be until we painted all blue. Some of the figured it out. Then we draw sea life and colored that in with color pencil and glued them on. It was something different then the city.
Well like I said I found this on pinterest, but here is the link from where it really came from. http://www.onceuponanartroom.com/
Thanks so much Chani for the great project

5th Grade One Point Perspective Monster Mouth
Well here it is my lastest One Point Perspective project Monster Mouth. I love it. My students did a great job getting the perspective down for the mouth. We drew the eye to the vashing point as well for an bonus. Then came what to color the monster in with. Well I when with crayons show my students how to get different value from them. I thought it was going to be a good choice, I was worng. So of the student got it, so didnt. but the bummer of it was they lost all that good perspective in the mouth. I have only done this project with one 5th grade class so far.. So dont worry I just started round 2 this week. and we are going to color them a totally different way. So Please stay tune in... for more...

5th Grade "Cars"
Tonight I came across old pictures of a project I did when the movie "Cars" came out to the theaters. I had my 5th grader draw Cars using two point perspective. They did a very nice job on it, and I haven't done this project for a long time. I know that next summer "Cars 2" is coming out. So maybe next fall might be a good time to do this project again... who knows..
