We started working on the background we made a picture frame. I had the students put what ever they want in the frame. Then we made lines for the wallpaper. Then we made the shelve where are wonderful elf sits. We just used construction paper for the elf. The students really liked making it because it seem they they all have an elf at home.

Very cute. But I don't have an elf at home. Though occasionally the cat will be up on a shelf... perhaps I can put an elf hat on her.
Oh my goodness! I wish I would have seen this a week earlier. How cute is this! This will have to be a still life activity for next year for my minis! I love it. Thanks for the idea!
