This is a new project that I am doing with my 3rd graders. We used bleeding tissue paper to make the background. Then pull some black paint to make the trees. Then put that cardinal bird in it. Go Cards!!

Are the trees a separate paper? Or did you block it off?
They came out nice! Did you do directed instruction to make the birds? And with the tissue, did you wet it and remove it to leave the color? Or did you collage the tissue on with glue/water or starch?
The tree are there own paper. Philly we did wet the white paper the. Put the tissue paper on top of that and let it dry then pulled off the tissue paper. For the bird I did it in a few steps.
