Grrr pencils.
Ok I know that Ticonderoga have the worlds best pencils. (or are they). I am not sure if I keep getting the bad boxes or what. I have sharpen in both electric and hand crank sharpener. Must of the time when we sharpen the pencil lead has a tiny crack in it and it breaks off. This will happen a few times. This is the 3rd week of school and my pencil are almost nothing. Grrr. That's all.

Contact Dixon Ticonderoga and see what they say. They take pride in their product and maybe they will send you a replacement! :)
I agree with what what Mrs. C said. Ticonderoga Dixon are very committed to standing behind their products and I am sure they will seek to attend to the issues you have come upon.
I use the ones without erasers on them and I've honestly never had a single one break the tip. Perhaps the manufacturing changes when adding the eraser? I don't know but I would certainly contact them!!
Weird. When you spend the extra $$ to get Ticonderoga, you expect quality. Contact the company!
